A Minnesota Welcome Posted on October 20th, 2009 by

The delegation from Petatlán, Mexico arrived at the Minneapolis airport late last night! After being received by representatives from St. Peter, they were brought down to St. Peter where they familiarized themselves with their accommodations.

After getting well-rested, the Petatlán delegation attended the daily Gustavus chapel service where they were warmly welcomed by Chaplain Brian and Chaplain Rachel. Upon leaving the chapel they were given a tour of the Gustavus campus and they were introduced to the Chairs of some of the departments.

Next, they met with representatives from the City of St. Peter including the city council and the chamber of commerce.

Their long day was concluded with a night of fun and games during trivia at Patrick’s in downtown St. Peter.

Below is a photo of the group’s arrival at the airport. More updates to come!
